v2.1.22: Sober Counter & Sereno
-
Sober Counter: counts the days, hours, and minutes since you gave something up, with the next milestone and the money you've saved so far. It's there in Duo too
-
Sober Counter: choose Cascade, Big count, or Streak grid. They all show the same numbers, just arranged differently
-
Sober Counter: at night it dims to a single color you pick on pure black, and the seconds stop ticking so the screen stays calm
-
Sober Counter: turn on discreet mode to hide what you're tracking and the money saved, so a glance at your desk gives nothing away
-
Sober Counter: had a slip? Restart from now and the days you stayed clean stay in your history, right there in the Streak grid
-
Sereno: a quiet clock for a Duo slot. One ink on pure black, with the date, battery, next alarm and temperature as lines you can turn on or off
-
Pomodoro: a break now reads as a break at a glance. A coffee glyph takes the top of the circle, the ring thins to a hairline, and the surface drains to outlines while you rest. Prefer the old look? Turn off "Outlined breaks" in the Pomodoro tab
-
Pomodoro: the theme picker is ordered by the themes people actually keep, and CyberNeon is the new default
-
Weather: the hourly strip follows your device's 12-hour or 24-hour setting
-
Agenda: "Later today" no longer lists events that belong to tomorrow
v2.1.21: Charging screen
-
Charging: fills your screen with the battery percentage, the time left to your milestone, and the time to full. It's based on the Pixel 11 charging screen, with more to customize than the original. It's there in Duo too
-
Charging: choose Pixel, Material, or Neon, set the milestone you charge to, and hide the clock if you'd rather see just the number. More options are coming soon
- World Clock: the AM/PM marker scales down in city cards instead of wrapping to a second line
v2.1.20: New fonts and a round of fixes
-
Fonts: Super Power, Juliett and Hachicro join the font picker
-
Help: the contact button is back, and the feedback link now brings you straight to this board
-
Weather: daily highs and lows are derived from the hourly forecast, so they match what the hours actually say
-
Calendar: the day-centric dashboard shows today's events again
-
Photos: the photo size multiplier is applied once, so photos land at the size you picked
-
Player: the battery complication no longer sits in the corner in fullscreen landscape
v2.1.19: AMOLED Clock
One of the top-voted requests on the board, finally shipped. Thanks for voting!
New-
AMOLED Clock: a plain, high-contrast clock on pure black, made for OLED screens. Nine monochrome looks, from solid and outline to matrix, terminal and stencil, all painted in the color you pick (Duo)
-
AMOLED Clock: it drifts to a new spot every few minutes so the lit pixels keep moving. Not your thing? Turn it off in Options
-
Timer: a sample timer is preloaded, so your timer list is not empty the first time
-
Player: the volume popup no longer covers the progress bar in portrait
-
Quick Launch: no longer opens StandBy while you're already using the app
-
Ads: native and web ad banners now have rounded corners
v2.1.13 to v2.1.17: Player and weather fixes
A run of small releases, gathered into one note. Most of these came straight from reports on this board, so thanks for flagging them.
Fixes & Improvements-
Player: Spotify album art shows again. Spotify moved its covers to a provider only privileged apps can read, so we now load them from Spotify's public image CDN instead
-
Player: album art is paired with the track it belongs to, so covers no longer lag a song behind
-
Player: Spotify covers reach the Hero player, Command Center and Star Trek widgets too
-
Player: reconnects when the media controller drops, instead of freezing
-
Player: lyrics load again. LRCLIB was rejecting our requests
-
Weather: the Weather Hero refreshes on the minute tick, so it no longer shows whatever it fetched when you opened the app
-
Weather: the hourly strip is labeled in your device timezone
-
Weather: the cache is throttled harder between midnight and 6 AM to save battery overnight
-
Notification bar: stays hidden while dialogs are open
-
Battery: the window no longer redraws continuously while music plays
v2.1.6: TODO List, Protocols & Tally Counters
A batch of brand-new widgets, several of them straight from your requests on this board. Thanks for voting!
New-
TODO List: a simple checklist for your lock screen, with round checkboxes, multiple lists, and reorderable tasks. This was the top-voted request on the board!
-
Protocols: your personal rules, kept quietly in view as a numbered manifesto or a rotating spotlight, with five looks and a time window per rule (Duo)
-
Tally Counters: up to four named counters side by side. Tap to count up, long-press to subtract, with an optional daily reset (Duo)
-
Vibes: a new Procedural station category with white, pink and brown noise, rain and ocean synthesized on-device, plus a full-screen generative visualizer
-
My Account: sign in with email and password, create an account, or reset your password without Google
-
Player: custom action icons now refresh right after you tap them
-
Player: haptic feedback on app-provided custom controls
-
Mini Player: no longer lingers over Settings when you get there by side-swipe (v2.1.5)
- Duo widget picker V2: a redesigned picker with live widget previews and category filters is rolling out gradually. If you see it, tell us what you think!
